Ragusa, together with Ibla, Modica, Scicli and their late baroque style are an UNESCO Mankind Inheritage. The wonderfulness of these places are the peaking churches, historical stairs and lanes, where time seems to have frozen, immense landscapes, carved in stone. Ragusa, with its entire district, is most famous for its natural and archeological parks and the wilderness of the Ibrei: Cava Ispica, Parco Forza, Camarina, with its Greek ruins, Caucana, with its Byzantine memorials, the Natural Preservation of the forest of Irminio and Ippari, as well as the Cave Iblee.
This wonderful city is unmistakable for the aromas and tastes of the Iblei: the modican chocolate, the caciocavallo, the cerasuolo. The cuisine is an inner part of turism in Ragusa, cuisine of religious traditions, the 'mpanati, the scacci, the dry tomato, the boiled and the "stimpirata" bun, a different and nice way to know Sicily through its tastes.
